Popular sell or trade in questions

Yes, we are always interested in buying cars, it's what we do! Even if it isn't a car you see in our inventory, we'll still be able to offer a price and assist with the sale of your vehicle. Just enter your rego or VIN and we'll get in touch with a valuation.

It's easy! Let us know you've got a car to trade in, and we'll reach out to get a few details to provide a valuation. If you're happy to go ahead, we'll help with all the paperwork, and collect the car from you when you get your Carma car.

The more information and pictures you can send us about the car, the better we'll be able to provide a fair valuation. We'll need: make, model and year; your registration information or the VIN (if the car is unregistered); and your odometer reading (km). We'll also ask whether the gearbox is auto or manual, whether you have service history, if there are any options or extras, and if there's any notable damage.

We compare current market data and previous sales of similar makes and models, taking into account features and condition, including kilometres.

We believe in offering the best price first to avoid haggling, but there may be instances of inaccuracy in the description of the vehicle for which we are open to a discussion.

We know these things happen β€” talk to our team and we'll walk you through the car valuation.

The car does not need to be registered, but it must be able to be registered in Australia, with prior Australian registration documents in your name.

That's no problem β€” you'll just need to pay out the amount owing on the car before we collect it from you.
